Blog for Rewards!

Want to share your thoughts and knowledge with the Flyff community? The Flyff team is looking for players who enjoy blogging and also earning rewards while doing so. Your blog could be spotlighted on our front page, and you could earn a fancy prize every week!

Where are the blogs? How do I blog?
Simply create a blog at http://www.blogger.com . If you have registered for a Google email account already, you will only need to sign up for a Blogger account. Each user can post, customize, or share their thoughts with millions of other users on the blogger network.

Who can participate in this "Blog for Rewards"?
Anyone who is a member of Flyff and has a valid gPotato account. All that is required is that you post exclusive material for our readers, follow our Flyff blog with "Google Friend Connect" in the top right corner of our blog, and that you are a member of the Flyff or gPotato community.

What kinds of content are acceptable for blogs?
The Flyff team is looking for content to supplement our regular articles and features. You can discuss an event, item, guide, issues, opinions, or even spotlight fashion pieces in Flyff. Anything with strategic content is acceptable. Just be sure you don't post an entry asking for advice, or marketplace related topics (Buy/Sell lists). Those kinds of posts belong in our official Flyff forums. (http://flyff-forum.gpotato.com/)

How can I get people to my blog?
The Flyff team will be promoting your blog by featuring it on our front page if it meets certain criteria, (namely length of post, strategic value, writing quality, etc.) but there are always things you can do to bring more people to your blog:
  • Add a link to your forum and email signatures
  • Share it on social networks, like Facebook or Myspace
  • Tell your friends and family about it!
Who is eligible to become a featured blogger?
Anybody capable of writing entertaining material about Flyff. This means that even if you write at another site or have your own personal blog, you can still be featured as a blogger on our Official Flyff Blog. Simply start blogging, and let us know your interested by following us with "Google Friend Connect" in the top right corner of our blog. Be sure to have your blog link visible so that we can visit your blog!

How do I get chosen as a Featured Blogger?
If we see a good blog by a community member, we will spotlight it on our Official Flyff blog. We will evaluate your blog based on certain criteria (namely length of post, strategic value, writing quality, etc.). Also, we will determine the relevancy of the blog to Flyff. If the blog has no relevancy to Flyff, then that blog will not be eligible to be a featured blogger.

My blog got spotlighted, how do I get my fancy prize?
Once you have been featured on our blog, you will receive an email from

What kind of prizes can Featured Bloggers receive?
Prizes will be different every week and will feature consumables such as Azria Ticket (1 day), Love Chocolates, Sunstones, and many more fancy prizes!

  9. Maybe there'd be a different way to list the blogs instead of having you sort through 150+ followers? That seems like a TON of work on your end.

Hopefully you'll keep the blog for rewards up. We could always use the traffic from your blog!
