Mike has been blogging about Flyff for a while now and he posts about interesting events that are currently going on and miscellaneous fun activities such as his character damage test. It was pretty enlightening to read his article entitled "
Gianting....Is it still worth it?", as he addresses the updates that we have recently put into the game and how it causes a phenomena of players switching from gianting to farming dungeons and premium areas to make money. How do players feel about this? Do you guys think that gianting is an activity that has been thrown away due to the newmoney making opportunities that come with each update? Does anyone still participate in "gianting"? Do you guys think that less competition for giants is better? Is anyone actually benefiting from the increased prices of drops from giants? Twitter Scramble Challenge (1/10/11 - 1/14/11)
Flyff Twitter Scramble Challenge - For five whole days we will be tweeting a scramble challenge at 3pm and 5pm PST (twice a day). You will be presented with a list of scrambled Flyff related words that will put your Flyff knowledge to the test! You will have to unscramble all of the words and be the first one to post your answers in a comment to the tweet in order to win.

What you need to have in your comment -
- Your answers to the Flyff Twitter Scramble Challenge (list of unscrambled words)
- Character's name
- Name of this character's server
Requirements -
- You must be currently following our Flyff twitter (We will be checking this)
- You must unscramble ALL of the words and they must be 100% correct.
- Your comment must contain your character name and server (This information is required in order for you to receive your prize)
Other rules and information -
- There will only be one winner per challenge. (10 total)
- If you are caught flaming another user or causing trouble, then you will be automatically disqualified.

Weapon Design Fan Art Contest (1/10/11 - 1/24/11)
Flyff Blog Weapon Design Fan Art Contest - Want to design your own unique weapon creation? For two weeks, we will be accepting entries into the Weapon Design Fan Art Contest. Be creative and use everyday objects (anything) to forge your own awesome weapon prop. We will be creating a blog post on 1/10/11 specifically for this contest. Users will be able to post their entry for the contest in the comment section of that blog post. Be sure to include a picture of your weapon prop and you holding a sign that says "I <3 Flyff
".
**Please note that we will not be making your weapon creation into an actual item.
Where do I upload my picture to? -
You can upload your picture to
imageshack and provided us with a link to it in your entry comment post.
What you need to have in your entry comment post -
- A picture of your weapon prop and you holding a sign that says "I <3 Flyff". (You can pose with your weapon prop instead and have the sign somewhere in the picture)
- Character's name
- Name of this character's server
- Name of your weapon creation
- Desired Weapon Prize (What ultimate legendary golden weapon or crystal lusaka weapon would you want if you were to win)
Requirements -
- You must be currently following our Flyff Blog (We will be checking this)
- Your comment must contain your character name, server, and desired weapon prize (This information is required in order for you to receive your prize)
- Your entry must be submitted to the specified blog post from (1/10/11 - 1/24/11) (Anything after 1/24/11 will not count!)
